I was flipping through a very old worn out copy of the Revised Standard version of the Bible when my eyes fell upon Psalms 74:16 Thine is the day, Thine also is the night.. It gavc me goose bumps as I realized God is stll Sovereign, no matter what we are gong through. As I pondered using this verse as a source of comfort, I began to research God's word regarding night seasons. Later I heard a song sung by Gospel artist Linda Randal entitled "God of the mountain" which tno doubt is based on this verse. The song talks about God being God whether you are on a mountain high, or struggling in the valley below. The last line is: "The God of the day, is still God in the night." I pray this book of scripture references will encourage and strengthen you as you endure the highs and lows of ths world.
